DC Chakwal alleged that MNA has pressurized him to transfer/post 17 officials of Revenue Department.

CHAKWAL (Dunya News) – Deputy Commissioner (DC) Chakwal, Ghulam Saghir Shahid, has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Zulfiqar Ali Khan of interference in official matter.

In his letter to Chief Secretary Punjab, Ghulam Saghir Shahid alleged that MNA Zulfiqar Ali has pressurized him to transfer/post 17 officials of the Revenue Department.

DC Chakwal said that MNA Zulfiqar Ali first came to his office and pressurized him to transfer/post 17 officials and then telephoned him on September 3 and asked to transfer/post Revenue Department officials including Girdawars and Patwaris.

On the other hand, PTI’s MNA Zulfiqar Ali Khan has categorically rejected DC Chakwal’s claim of putting pressure on him. He further said that he only telephoned him for the transfer of a Patwari named Muhammad Aslam because people were not satisfied with his work.

Zulfiqar Ali further said that there is no truth in sending a list of 17 officials of Revenue Department for postings and transfers.
